Redskins tight end Vernon Davis has spent part of his offseason a little differently than most NFL stars.

Instead of vacationing on a lush island beach, Davis has been training in a different sport: curling. And Davis is hopeful to attend the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang as a guest of the USA Curling team.

“I love the sport of curling because it’s just you and the stone and the broom,” Davis told ESPN’s The Undefeated. “You have to have a still mind, a calm mind. Just like anything else, like when it comes to football. The mind-set has to be still.”

Thomas, himself a two-time Pro Bowler and one of the league’s best tight ends in 2013 and ‘14, is coming off a season where he caught 30 passes for 281 yards and four touchdowns in Jacksonville. He would help a Dolphins team that has two free agents at the position (Jordan Cameron and Dion Sims).

“My tenure in Miami, I served my purpose,” Albert told the Sun Sentinel. “I was brought here to help change the culture and I believe I did that. Now the team is on a winning path and I leave my mark on the people I was supposed to leave it with, the youngsters on the team.”

“Nobody on this team is selfish. We’re a family out here and we have each other’s backs through thick and thin,” Blount said. “No matter who is going to get the rock, who’s playing the most, it’s always going to be our group that supports each other.”

White was called upon to Do His Job a little bit more than usual. Belichick, as he does with with every one of his players, had full trust to thrust White into a very important role.
